Bio: Carter is co-founder of Authenticity Consulting, LLC, and is a nationally recognized organizational development consultant with almost 30 years of experience in internal and external consulting. He is author of the award-winning “Field Guide to Consulting and Organizational Development” that Is used by organizations around the world to teach consulting skills. He has extensive experience in consulting to Boards of Directors and in facilitating strategic planning, and has written books in both of these practices. Carter also pioneered development of the Action Learning-based, peer coaching group process, in which group members share coaching to help each other learn coaching skills and address current priorities in life and work.
Carter holds a BA in Social and Behavioral Sciences, BS in Computer Science, MBA from the University of St. Thomas (Minneapolis), and a PhD in Human and Organization Development from The Union Institute (Cincinnati).
